Historic Photographs
The Photographic Archive of the Polk County Historical Association was initiated by former board member Louise Frisbie. Members of the Association contributed photographs from their personal collections. Many of these photographs were submitted to the Florida State Archives, where they can be viewed online. Polk County Historical Quarterly
The Polk County Historical Association publishes its "Historical Quarterly" as a service to its members and to the wider historical community. Called one of the best of its kind, the "Historical Quarterly" features scholarly historical papers written by academic, student, and local historians. Most articles feature Polk County or Central Florida themes. We welcome submission of articles for future publication.
The "Quarterly" is edited by Randall M. MacDonald, Collection Development Librarian of the Roux Library at Florida Southern College. Mr. MacDonald welcomes inquiries.
