Our Mission

The Polk County Historical Association records and preserves, collects and arranges historical items, material and data, including (and without limitation); books, diaries, pamphlets, maps, pictures, family histories, census records, heirlooms and other objects, narratives of early pioneers, their permits, privations and achievements, materials relative to its soldiers, schools, churches and all citizens, illustrative of and relating to the history of Imperial Polk County.
